Work with and assist the Material & Production Planning Team Leader in leading the regional detailed scheduling operations by completing all of the daily detailed scheduling activities in his/her location in a timely and efficient manner
Create a production schedule based on planned production orders and material available following the MPS (Master Production Schedule) and work closely with Production Planning and Material Planning teams
Responsible for sharing the schedule with Production for validation
Revise and finalize the production schedule based on Production input and convert the planned orders to firm production orders after the schedule is finalized
Monitor production status and performance to schedule
Communicate with Production teams on the production status and potential conflicts
Revise the schedule and inform related parties if there is a need for an update
Provide production schedule related input to Order Fulfillment Responsibles
Share planning best practices with other Production Planners under the direction of the Material & Detailed Scheduling Team Leader and work on projects such as consolidating the detailed scheduling practices to standardize tools and capability across the company
Actively communicate with Material & Production Planning Team Leader to ensure mutual understanding regarding tasks and performance expectations
Execute & complete the tasks assigned by the Material & Production Planning Team Leader on time and at the expected quality
Take part in the detailed scheduling projects led by Supply Chain Development and Integration
Provide input to the Material & Production Planning Team Leader for him/her to create daily, weekly, and monthly reports and analytics and provide support in the maintenance of these reports
Assist Material & Production Planning Team Leader with taking corrective actions and/or providing operational insight for the unachieved goals in the performance reports and KPIs
Escalate any issues to the Material & Production Planning Team Leader promptly and assist in discussions and solution-finding process
If necessary, cooperate and interact with employees from other plants/regions within the Supply Chain
Participate in relevant and mandatory training as assigned and provide feedback for the meetings
Support peers' onboarding and adaptation process
Enter annual leaves within the specified periods
Minimum 2 years experience on a similar role
University degree in Engineering or Management or relevant areas
Good knowledge of English
Good knowledge of SAP ERP
Good knowledge of MS Office
Good knowledge of Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools
