Job description
  • Defines technical specifications for process equipment or materials;
  • Participates in the evaluation of indirect materials for the production process;
  • Participates in the evaluation of production equipment and devices;
  • Participates in new product introduction and transfer activities from other locations;
  • Proposes/executes Value Engineering and Component Engineering actions for continuous improvement;
  • Processes product and process data using defined processes within the organization;
  • Participates in the implementation of new technologies in production facility;
  • Evaluates the effects of product/process changes in terms of efficiency, cost and ergonomics;
  • Participates in the creation of technical justification for the CAPEX process.
Requirements
  • Higher technical studies in electrical, electronics or mechanics;
  • Experience minimum 2 years experience in the production process, in a similar position in an electronic equipment manufacturing company;
  • Professional skills/ Knowledge of applied electronics;
  • Knowledge of working with a program to prepare and manage production processes (e.g. for Asymtek, ASM, Fuji, Schunk, etc.);
  • Good computer skills with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of English at an intermediate level (German - an advantage).
